Terms and Conditions for Lawn Mowing Services
Effective Date: 5/2/2025
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of lawn mowing services by Fat Cat Lawn Care LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to the customer (“Client”, “you”, or “your”). By requesting and accepting our services, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
1. Services Provided
Fat Cat Lawn Care LLC provides the following standard lawn maintenance services:
– Lawn Mowing
– Trimming (around obstacles, trees, fences, etc.)
– Edging (along sidewalks, driveways, and curbs)
– Blowing of grass clippings off hard surfaces
2. Service Schedule
– Services will be performed on a recurring or one-time basis as agreed.
– Weather or other uncontrollable events may delay scheduled services; we will notify you and reschedule as soon as possible.
3. Customer Responsibilities
– Ensure the lawn is free of debris, toys, pet waste, and other obstructions prior to service.
– Provide access to all areas of the property that require maintenance. Locked gates or blocked access may result in missed service and a fee.
– Secure pets indoors or in a safe area during service.
4. Pricing and Payment
All quotes are based on the scope of the job to be performed and are not calculated by the hour. Clients are charged per service visit, not per hour worked.
– Service fees are based on lawn size, frequency, and service type.
– Payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
– Late payments may incur a late fee of $15 after 7 days.
– Returned checks or failed payments may result in a $25 fee.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
– Clients may cancel or reschedule service with at least 24 hours’ notice.
– Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee of $25 or the full service cost.
– Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to termination of service.
6. Service Limitations and Liability
– Fat Cat Lawn Care LLC is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, or unseen obstacles unless previously disclosed.
– We are not liable for damage to property left in service areas (e.g., toys, hoses, decorations).
– Minor scuffing or wear near hardscape edges from edging equipment is considered normal.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are unsatisfied with our service, notify us within 24 hours, and we will address the issue promptly at no additional cost.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services at any time with 7 days’ notice. All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to termination.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions with reasonable notice. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
